CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Corporate Accountant is responsible for all accounting related aspects of his/her assigned departments, and liaison between department executives and the accounting department

RESPONSIBILITIES:

All accounting related aspects of assigned departments (including accounting, outlook/budgeting, coding

AP invoices)

May also be accountable for maintaining and reconciling selected balance sheet accounts

Accurate, on-time, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

Prepare, summarize, and present accurate financial results and forecasts.

Assist department executives in creation of, and management to, budgets.

Perform financial analysis to assist senior leadership in the effective management of their departments.

Liaison (together with their manager) between department executives and the accounting department

Special projects as assigned

Perform other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management.

Follow legal policies as directed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

​Intermediate knowledge of GAAP Accounting

Basic knowledge of Oracle accounting software helpful

0-2 years accounting experience​

Proficient in Microsoft Excel BA/BS in Accounting or related field

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Oracle e Business Suite

Financial Analysis

Ability to effectively communicate and present results to high level executives

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Willingness to work long hours and weekends if needed

Ability to travel between Think Cosmopolitan locations in Vancouver, BC.
